The Gilbert Estate, West Cornwall

The Property of the Trustees of Carew Davies Gilbert, Esq., deceased
To be sold by auction
at St. John’s Hall, Penzance
18 May 1922

Description

This is a large format booklet published by the auctioneer, Rutherford D. Duff of St. Austell. It contains two maps at a scale of 1:2500, one with an insert at double scale, each coloured to show the bounds of the lots. All the property concerned is in the parishes of Ludgvan, Towednack and Zennor and totals over 700 acres.

It is my impression that not many of the lots sold on the day of the auction.
